If you are looking to get work done by Gold Drake Studio, we offer quotes for each project. Just send and email to golddrakestudio@gmail.com with the models you want painted, what quality and
any other additional services listed below, such as assembly and topcoats. Please be specific and list all models that would be included.
Painting Levels
Tabletop: Basic color,
shade/wash, drybrush/highlights and basic basing. Great for large groups of
models.
GDS Standard: An excellent in between Tabletop and Showcase quality, GDS
standard quality uses multi-layered shading and highlights, weathering and
detailed basing.
Showcase: Ideal for display case models and single models such as leader/hero
models. Utilizes advanced techniques including wet blending, detailed
weathering, object source lighting, freehand designs and lettering and advanced
basing.
When GDS first launched, conversion services were something of an of the menu order/special request. Since then, the request for sculpting and conversions has grown, so they are now part of the normal services available.

Conversion services include kitbashing, such as this Mortenebra and Cankerworm kitbash. This includes any sculpting that would be needed to make it work, such as her cloth, as well as any required Cleanup and Pinning required.
Also included in these new services are sculpting/putty work. Be it adding a few extra onto a mini to give it a personal touch, making a new weapon or armament or completely overhauling a model, such as this custom Ghetorix:
With these services, your mind is the limit, so if you've had a crazy idea for a conversion, let's do it!
Additional Services:
If the models need to be assembled, here are the following things I do, all as a part of assembly!
-All models are washed properly and assembled with super glue. All assembled models are provided with basing as well. If particular weapons or poses are wanted, I can certainly accommodate, however all parts must be provided and in box. Any unused parts from kits will be returned with the completed commission.
-Removal of mold lines, flash, and any gap filling required.
-For delicate or heavy models, part will be pinned to ensure they stay nice and intact.

Other post painting services:
Primering: If needed, models can also be primered. Primer is not billed by time and varies with the amount of models and size of models. All models are primed with Citadel primers.

Varish/ Topcoat: If desired, models can be provided with a final topcoat or varnish to seal and protect the model. Much like primer, it is not billed by hour, but amount used.
