Bacon Bits

Here are some models I found to use as farrow objective/spell tokens. Found these Malifaux models at my LGS on sale, so it was an insta-buy.

Group shot of the little guys.

Great Scott!

Recently finished up a birthday present for my friend for his future farrow force. The amazing Dr. Arkadius.

Decided to go with an alt scheme but still keep it fairly grounded. After topping him off with a dullcote, I went in over all the tubes with a gloss varnish so it looks like glass, as well as the gloves to make it look like black rubber. Very fun model to work on.

Converted Ghetorix

For an upcoming collaboration with Ashton over at Red Modeling, I did a mock up/sketch of a converted Ghetorix, following the idea of a "calm before the storm" visual and mixed with a more stylized approach that likens him to Kromac.

Keep an eye out for more soon!

Magnetized Dire Trolls

Wasn't able to get shots of the Blizters, but here are the painted magnetized Maulers, Bombers and Rok.

Horgle Ironstrike

Super fun model to paint! Assembly was somewhat odd and had some funky mold shifts, but good stuff regardless. Pretty pleased with the glow, which was done via gradual blending and drybrushing by brush.

Ultramar's Finest

Ultramarines, now with paint!

Topping it off with a nice group shot as well!

Sons of Macragge

Finally changing it up from my normal Warmachine/Hordes work with some good ol' fashioned 40k.
Ultramarines to be exact! The boys in blue aren't blue just yet, but heres some pre-primering shots.

One Tactical squad. The sergeant sports a Power Fist and Grav Pistol, backed up by the Gravgun and Missle launcher from his squad mates. Did a little bit of sculpting on the sarge for a military-esque crew cut that isn't the weird mohawk they've been giving the heads these days.

A squad of Centurions, armed with Heavy Bolters.

A second squad of Centurions, armed with two pairs of lascannons and a Grav-Cannon.

One of the two Stormtalons (they both look the same so one picture should suffice). Both are outfitted with lascannons.

The bases for the two Stormtalons. Like the other bases, they are made with cork and pumice. Area was left clear for easy assembly of the flyer stand after everything is painted.

There will be more to see in the week to follow with these guys!

Dozer and Smigg

Had a blast working on this guy. PP's Resin/Metal kits are very well done (much better than the plastics). Minimal mold lines and miscasts. Didnt have to do any green stuff work and fit together like a charm. Crisp sclupt too.

Magnetized Dire Troll

Currently working on more Trollbloods. The client wanted two fully magnetized Dire Trolls so they cane be Blitzers Bombers, Maulers and Rok. So out came the dremel! Credit goes to Xammy from the Privateer Press forums for the idea.!

More Green Trolls!

A few more additions to the green trolls.

Mulg the Ancient. The club arm was reposed upwards and new rocks and underarm were sculpted back in. No longer will Mulg club models by accident.

Epic Grissel

Jarl Skuld, Devil of Thornwood.

Rusty Ol' Mule

Moorclaw's trusty sidekick, a beaten and rusted up Mule. Painted up with the same base color as the other troll's skin color (P3 Greycoat Grey) to keep a unified between the 'jack and the warbeasts.

Grim Angus

Part of a trench/urban warfare theme Trollblood force, I gave Grim a little love, fixing him up with a stahlhelm like helmet and a wool collar and lining to his coat, giving a bomber jacket type look.

The basing was done with cork, some plasticard and Army Painter Razorwire.

Mean Green Trolls

Borka and the Keg Carrier. Got hold of these from an earlier commission and got a decent photo this time around.

Another really fun model. Charleston Hes- err Trollkin Runebearer.
