Gold Drake Studio Commission Information

The sections below details how we accept commissions and terms and conditions regarding Gold Drake Studio's services, including payment methods and requirements. Pricing and service details can be found here.

If you are looking to get some paint on those models or if you have any further questions, please email me at: golddrakestudio@gmail.com!

How it Works:

GDS has opened its doors to all those across the US, but our policies remain the same as before.
After being contacted via email or in person, we will then go into the details of the commission.

What are the details?
-What are the models? How many are there? How do you want them to look?
-What quality would you like the models? Do they need to be assembled, cleaned, primered, etc?
-What is the time frame for the commission? If required for an upcoming tournament, special arrangements can be made.
-How much is it going to cost? Pricing is determined by the models itself, as some require more time due to details or size. Higher quality and additional services will also determine the price.

In an effort to save clients money, GDS is willing to purchase figures locally if need be. The cost (including Pennsylvania's 6% sales tax) will be rolled into the total cost of the commission and deposit. After receiving the models required and if needed, a deposit amount, the commission will be started.

While we are working on your models:

GDS seeks to ensure our clients comfort and satisfaction while their models are being worked on. While working on your minis, progress pictures will be sent via email to you at key points in the commission’s progress. These are done to ensure the desired look is being achieved and expectations are met upon receiving the completed commission.

Payment, Deposits and Returns

With GDS now taking commission's from across the US, payment is received through Paypal. Local clients may also pay via check. After the commission has been discussed and details and services have been determined, an estimated total cost will be given to the client.

After the estimated cost has been agreed upon, a 30% deposit may be required to begin the commission. Larger commissions will most certainly require a deposit, but smaller, single model jobs may not. This deposit must be received with the models or shortly after. If one is required, the commission will not be worked on until the deposit is received.

Ex. A ten model commission is agreed upon and he client requests Tabletop quality. The estimate is totaled at $150. A $45 deposit is required for work to begin.

There are no returns for deposits. If the client cancels whilst a commission is in progress, we keep the deposit and the models are returned. Any models purchased by GDS for a commission will be kept upon cancellation.
